Boredom

http://www.andreaplanet.com/wallpaper/download.php?id=41
I am bored. And no, it’s not like I have nothing to do, in fact, I’ve got to finish some reports, a long-delayed cross-stitch, also spelled gift for Christmas back in 2004. And I have an upcoming trip planned and many more tasks to go before the end of this year. Yet I am [...]

A perfect afternoon

http://users.andara.com/~robsteve/pages/bookshop.htm
Just a dim light, mountains and mountains of books and magazines. They need not be properly arranged or dust wiped off their covers, every single page is all ready to transport its readers to where it intends them to be at, whilst they remain focused and intact with its content.

There should be no [...]

Sharing the sad tales

Do you ever wonder how some of the stories you read as a child are deemed right for readers of our tender age? I am beginning to see some ironies in the intention of the writers or story-tellers and the impact it has on us at the receiving end. For one thing, some stories are [...]

A lonely thought

We used to resent having to memorize and regurgitate something that is quite beyond our limited ife experiences. The taunting task of poetry recitation ceased to be a chore only as we grow to become more mature, and definitely adults with more stories sealed within us. Until then, we may not understand the wisdom of [...]

Konichiwa!

http://bradknapp.com/index.html
Finally set my heart on visiting Japan for the very first time. Indeed, it’ll be the very first tour to the the land of rising sun after the many trips down to the land of morning calm. It’s weird how this idea has developed and it’s an irony how after conquering the basic conversational [...]

Moving (on)

N has moved into her new apartment and we went visiting last evening after dinner. The place was neat and certainly did smell fresh paint and a tinge of anticipation and excitement. A middle size Christmas tree is erected next to the main door entrance and a hammock outside the balcony was just so [...]

Await in silence

Picture taken in Egypy (2004)
等待。In wait.

Rat race & coffee break

http://seouldailyphoto.com/
Where are we rushing to? What are we chasing after? Some wise man once said, that he will not ask what happiness is, for only then will he focus on living and staying alive at this very moment. Ironically it may seem that the quest for happiness is exactly what causes misery, as we [...]
